National Loss Prevention Officer Training Course
Welcome to the National Loss Prevention Training Course. This online material is presented to you to update and refresh the basic skills required to be a Loss Prevention Officer in Canada.
Although Provincial legislation may change slightly across the country, the core of a L.P.O.'s work most often involves Criminal investigations, arrests as well as preventative measures. The academic materials in this program are directed towards this end as well as Officer Safety.
You will be required to keep a notebook as part of this course, and there will be an exam. The in class portion of the training will re-enforce the materials you learn here as well as covering arrest, handcuffing, search and other physical skills.
